I boxed a bit too. Under the direction of one of the best college boxing coaches of all time at a college level, Ike Deeter, but by that time, Wazzu had dropped boxing as college sport. It was club type... He soon retired.. An obituary,

So I like Boxers too.. :)

And so my dad hung around the boxing scene in Spokane, one of his cousins sparred with Jack Dempsey whenever he came around... Spokane was a good boxing town..
