Can you say - STAGFLATION !?!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!!? PPI was HOT ! If they let a 4% PPI number come thru the system - imagine what the "real world" number is (vbg) ? ...obviously the inflation story is not new-news to the majority on SI. The hedonism of hedonic adjustments is going to come back to haunt the Fed. ...I plan to significantly add to SHORT positions this am, especially in Subprimes , Homebuilders & Broad Market Indicies/ETF's. The next couple of PPI releases will be key... with a rising PPI - Greenspan will have less resistance to continuing his Rate hikes... Another classic "BLACK OCTOBER" - is potentially rising on the horizon. ...and we know what "inflation" will do for Commodities - especially Gold & PM's. Slider`
