WASHINGTON, DC - Congressman Wally Herger expressed disgust at the Clinton-Gore Administration's lack of action to stem steep gasoline costs for average American commuters. Gas prices, which are now $1.70 and above for unleaded gasoline in Herger's Northern California district, have been rising since March of this year. House Members from California and Florida recently held a press conference to discuss the gas crisis.

"In March, Energy Secretary Bill Richardson admitted the Clinton-Gore Administration got "caught napping" when this oil crisis hit," Herger charged. "But it's been three months since the Administration's slumber party ended, and gas prices are still outrageously high - and they continue to rise."

Gasoline prices are skyrocketing for a number of reasons, including costly environmental regulations, supply problems, taxes, and low fuel inventories.

Oh, btw, fuel spiked 3 months before Bush named Cheney...you liar. LOLOL That is why you are considered the dumbest liar on SI
