I have to tell you that the people I know who go to India at least once a year don't bother with that stuff anymore.
The reactions from that stuff can be brutal.
They do carry imodium though.
Also, no need to buy something like Cipro here for $5 a tab, which you should also carry over there, you can get them in India (same maker) for pennies a tab.
