Well, have Air America personnel been charged with a crime either? Then what are we talking about exactly. I agree that the Air America situation reeks of unethical behavior. But unless they are convicted of a crime, what can we say about it. Perhaps they did intend on repaying that loan. It was a loan after all. Loans have repayment terms. I'm still not sure why it is a scandal unless the non-profit had bylaws forbidding them from loaning money (which might be the case) and unless Air America clearly did not intend on repaying the loan. Is there evidence of either? If no, then it seems like much ado about nothing from a bunch of rightwing circle jerks.

Yes, the Rush Limbaugh story deserved major media coverage. He is one of the biggest media sensations of our generation. He also came out strongly against drug users on "moral" grounds. If he's accussed of such immoral behavior, then it's a big story. Why not? The question really should be why isn't Rush being prosecuted like any other common criminal who breaks our drug laws? Is he receiving special treatment?

BTW, to his credit, liberal Democrat Eliot Spitzer is investigating the Air America situation, if laws were broken indictments will be handded down.
