The government doesn't need to do this. The government proves over and over that they don't need to be in the business of technology development. Here's a few of the major oil companies and what they're doing in fuel technology from replacement fuels to nanotechnologies. bp.com exxonmobil.com coptechnologysolutions.com unocal.com chevron.com shell.com sunocoinc.com All the while these companies employ people for that reseach. People that buy homes pay taxes and keep this economy going. And god forbid these companies make money. Then I'll let you look-up and research the research being done by the major auto companies, again employing more people.
