I'm not here to defend it line by line and I did read it. I'm not a shareholder of Overstock although I do love their service compared to Amazon. Whether they can make money in the long run is beyond the scope of this post or any analysis I care to make now. I do admire Byrne for sticking his neck out and going after scamming hedgies.

Let me put it to YOU this way.

How can you post with a straight keyboard and not deny that there is incredible incentive for hedgies to manipulate? They now account for an incredible percentage of market trades (some estimate at over 1/2).

Why on a thread devoted to corporate scam is it so hard to imagine why hedgies would not manipulate, using all the available tools?

Given recent convictions and discovery, why is it so hard to understand that hedgies crooks are just as bad as any other scammers. Why are hedgie defenders so quick to attack any who point this out? Usually the MO is to attack that person's background, investments, etc.

That's why the "Bob O'Brien" charade is so amusing. He's frustrated the hedgie arse kissers by leading them on several "wild goose chases."
