I do admire Byrne for sticking his neck out and going after scamming hedgies. If I were an OSTK shareholder or employee, I'd be less thrilled that my head honcho was devoting so much time to non-business-related affairs. Why are hedgie defenders so quick to attack any who point this out? Why does everyone who "points this out" always seem to do so in a half-baked manner which inevitably includes a whole set of misconceptions about how the market actually works? Why is anyone who points out these shortcomings labelled a "hedgie defender"? He's frustrated the hedgie arse kissers by leading them on several "wild goose chases." I'm thinking more of the bigger wild goose chase as investors are frenzied into pursuing the shares of a company with some serious business issues, all in the name of "getting shorty".
