We now know that a top secret military intelligence team was tracking the Atta cell, and had 4 of the top 9/11 hijackers under surveilance a year before 9/11.

So, we had the tools prior to 9/11 to stop the attacks, it just that the government for reasons unknown didn't follow through and prevent the attacks?!?

And people still believe that the Bush Adminstration had absolutely no foreknowledge of the pending 9/11 terrorist attacks? Their own intelligence people were tracking the terrorists. Perhaps they couldn't share the info with the FBI, but the CIA probably was in the loop as we have no idea what those high level spooks are really up to. If the CIA knew, then Bush knew, simple as that. This also explains why they were able to release the terrorist's pictures and names so shortly after 9/11, something many thought was suspicious. Because, they knew who the perpetrators were all along and had names and pictures to go along with them.
