Dave, what is your email client? If it is Outlook Express and you use the free Yahoo, then it can't be done as far as I know. Free Yahoo email does not support an email client program like OE. But you can pay a little extra to Yahoo to enable that.

The default email kicks in when you click on a web link to send email.

I'm unsure whether I'm right.
