Thanks JF. Now I'll tell you what I "didn't do." I didn't force people who never wanted to become soldiers to enlist.

I hear this all the time. What is the point you are making here? That it's ok to send a volunteer army to a war of questionable ethics?

I never supported deficit spending, nor do I support the whole "have your cake and eat it too" mentality.

You write posts in support of bush, so I will venture that you voted for him. Do you want to rethink your statement?

But most importantly, I never contributed to the demoralization of our troops by exaggerating every little setback while ignoring the victories.

Bush voters contributed to the death of 1850 soldiers and counting, 15,000 wounded, 150,000 scarred for life, and thousands of dead civilians.

Real easy for you to sit back in your comfy chair and say that terrorism is something that we shouldn't overreact to.

I have heard him say that terrorism is something we should combat with methods other than the ones being used by bush...that's not the same thing.

Or that we should have a draft so that you can force others to see things the way you do.

It should be much harder to start wars when everyone is a potential and direct stake holder. It's hard to stop wars once they are started.
