I probably should not even be saying this on a public board: but in (say) a five-ten game, one only needs to win one or two hands an hour to make a decent tax-free living...

I only dip my toe in 4 or 5 hands an hour--seldom my foot. Hope that helps...

Of course, if you make 3 or 4 hundred dollars in the first hour or two, then you can have a drink at the bar, play tennis--or go for a picnic with your best friends or your lover.

Don't ruin a good thing by getting tired, greedy, or obsessed. My last advice on this thread. Today I made $537.00. It will never get me the money back that I have lost over the years in real life. But it buys lunch and $50.00 goes into my holiday fund.

And there will be days you DON'T win (not many). How much you lose will be up to you...
