I certainly think it is. So we didn't find the WMD, and we turned Iraq into a bright blue bug zapper for terrorist activity, which isn't exactly what we originally had in mind.

That bug zapper is no better than the one in my neighbor's backyard....

But we went in and kicked a destabilizing force in the Middle East out of power, and that needed to be done anyway. Filling the void is turning out to be rather tough, but in the long term I believe it's all worth it.

Ah yes, the "Mission Accomplished" debacle.

B.S. Lots of talk about "rolling back Bush's tax cuts," but little talk about cutting spending, except for Iraq which, while significant, only represents a fraction of the deficit. Pretty easy to talk tough about cutting spending when it's the other guy's pet projects you are cutting.

Well, a dem president handed over a fiscally sound US to bush, who proceeded to dismantle 8 years of good work. These things are cyclical. Adminstrations come and go...time is on the side of emancipation, and emancipation is not a strong suit of the current flock of republicans and their followers.
