Who's mfg the drives? Gateway puts the cheapest components they can find into its servers and PCs. Whoever wins the bid on that particular batch, gets their hardware installed. There is no consistency of manufacturer from box to box, even in the same batch. You may have two boxes with the same hard drives but different NICs, etc.
