You're quite right, and I was a tad dismissive. I no longer follow PARS, having dropped it after the dex disappointment, but what I took away from it was that the CEO had been less than upfront when discussing Dex prospects and also in "diversifying" before the results were announced. I think there are some on SI who followed it, and may still do. There is a PARS thread which will give you some of the history.
