Shades Re: "Phil" Yeah, I think he was. I haven't been listening much lately but did hear Kaultbaum the other day and I really think he was astonished that Cramer would do as he did with DKS and then follow up the next day with a similar performance with GOOG. What got me was the length to which Kaultbaum went to state that he thought Cramer "meant well". He didn't sound believable and of course he knows the drill.

Here in Florida you get lots of "money radio" with Phil, Kaultbaum, the "Stock Doctors of Orlando", ect. and all of these guys on occasion are fairly bearish or at the least will admit that maybe sometimes you should sell a stock. In most of the country all you have is "bullish" CNBC (if you have cable or satellite). Atlanta is typical. Here you have this big city with who knows how many 401-K bagholders and Atlanta HAS NEVER allowed any bearish style radio show, not even Bob Brinker as far as I know. Of course Atlanta is also home to large numbers of public companies. Atlanta is also home to several "buy and hold" style radio programs, mostly weekly shows that run two or three hours on Saturday or Sunday. All to make sure the millions of 401-k bagholders "stay the course".I know of a bunch of other cities the same as Atlanta, though now with broadband and internet radio in principle you could listen to Phil anywhere.
