Saddam was no angel. That's why we picked him for the coup. To make it difficult for the Soviets to get access to the oil. They were in discussions with the previous regime. What you need when the current regime is not in your pocket is regime change. As for the terrorist connections...the 9-11 commision report says that his role in terror was minimal. Compared to the Saudi or Pakistani influence on the word of terror the connection is laughable, yet I don't hear you advocating the invasion of Saudi Arabia or Pakistan...our allies;^). Orca
