My XOM covered calls expired for a nice bit of extra cash. I've calculated that I can make about 20% a year selling them every month, but I have a few more months of testing to confirm my theory. 20% in a very safe investment is not bad at all, worst that can happen is I miss some gains, and if XOM totally tanks, we're probably all in trouble anyway. Plus, of course, about 3% in dividends.
