Liking folks will never be extinguished. It denotes reasons for that emotion. Telling folks that "liking" is an overblown theory is spacy IMO. Kids learn about hating from their folks, along with their friends. They usually learn the hard way about friends versus acquaintances. You are an acquaintance. Wharfy is a friend. Takes a while to establish this. An acquaintance will leave you quickly over small things. Friends take much longer because they see beneath one single thought or action.
