That is really unfair, JC, and I object. I have no desire to impugn anyone's motives or character particularly. However, anyone who is president, and any action that takes the lives of hundreds of thousands of people, is open to further historical study. Do the people on the right here ever consider a new idea? Life is not a little sanctuary to the past. It is dynamic, and has new input. Why would anyone bother to study history or write books about it or do research about it if one and only one version--yours, apparently--was accepted as the truth? I have never heard something so ridiculous as your suggestion that we not question history because Harry S. Truman might have his eternal rest disturbed, incidentally.
