CJ, Your state government at it's dysfuntional best...

The funny thing about redistricting, is that it also locks in some of the opposition candidates in their districts... so they don't protest too much. Florida has some redistricting ballot initiatives coming up, and we're almost as bad as Texas. We've got districts that are pencil thin and run almost the whole width of the state (look at #27, #21 is also interesting - flsenate.gov ).

But I don't think FL politics are as bad as TX politics (though some observers of the 2000 elections may differ).
