"recording cspan 1,2,3" it is double-easy if one has three computers, buffering the normal 12 hours of any realplayer. (having three old computers is fairly normal, no?)
Offline Explorer Pro handles all three channels, but one cannot watch the result until one has stopped recording it. (that original software handled that too).

Linux, with some smart somewhat illegal additions, does both, as did StreamBox.
One should adjust to the latest C-SPAN copywongs, not abuse them as they were possible to abuse before they changed all their streaming servers, and closed down their community, no.
