John, we are reviewing your perspective here:
Message 21620854
You said to Tenchusatsu:
"self-centered Korean ingrate who is so caught up in class that I'd abuse or neglect my fellow citizens."
So let me repeat what I said:
I think you had a strong emotional reaction to Tenchusatsu's post
Let's focus on you John, your anger at his comment that provoked such a strong emotional reaction from you.
Do you have the ability to be polite to him irregardless of his income level? Or, is your kindness only reserved for certain groups of people such as teachers and nurses, who certainly deserve kindness, but not exclusively so.
Your reaction was provoked by his comment about income, so why don't we look at the information - please provide the available cash that an engineer would have compared to a teacher in California. Be sure to include the housing subsidy, public pension, 25% discounts at stores, 20% BMR discounts for housing, health insurance, LTC, summer vacation of a teacher vs over-time of an engineer, and when you get done, please let us know what the cash available is compared to the cash available of your typical engineer in California. Please post numberical information and ask Tenchusatsu for help if you have any questions on the cost of living in California before emotionally attacking him. Btw, school teachers earn $45k in the Bay Area, not $20k. Wouldn't it make better sense to discuss facts first.
