Do you have some sort of evidence that this is a fair summary of Chomsky's work?

Since I ran into him on a regular basis over at FADG several years ago, I have read analysis after analysis of his statements, and "America is the root of all evil" is a good summary of his POV, IMO. He is the top linguistic guy in the world, and he is very clever at what he does. He slides around it and denies it when pressed. But the theme is there. Everything he writes is about the bad things we have done and that these are the reasons the world hates us. It wouldn't work for me to to pull quotes out of context.

Has he done a good job of selling it? He sure has. It's hard for you to see it, because you are critical of everything done since Bush got in, and his views tend to mesh with yours. They seem just a little bit more to the left of you.

This viewpoint is denied by the left, but I think it is the reason Bush got reelected. People don't like negativity.
