You know, at some point is anyone going to ask how we can afford Iraq? Bush has already added $2 TRILLION to the debt and the corporate press gleefully admitted that the deficit looks to be something south of the record of last year.

That's what passes for fiscal responsibility in the US of A.

Bush is spending us into oblivion and he STILL wants to cement more tax cuts for the wealthy AND spend another $1-2 TRILLION to kill-SS.

Where and when does the writing of bouncing checks stop? If the housing market is the only thing that's keeping the economy from falling over, we can't afford inflation and higher interest rates.
