We are still in between product cycles. GEMS is struggling to establish itself in emerging or yet to emerge markets. The major reason that I have yet to buy more shares is that the expenses associated with such moves are immense. If you look at the press release from earlier today Glenayre comes right out and says they will have a huge write off associated with the mergers. That along with the bond market and stock market selloff was more than enough reason for the stock to fall at the close. It's going to take a really big contract to get GEMS moving sustainably higher rather than the lure of future technologies. It will happen, but for now I agree with Jeffrey Bald the technical action looks bad. Unfortunately no one seems to be sure where actual support is for the stock. 15 7/8's? I don't think so because without all the positive press it could have gone lower. Regards, Jeff
