I was wondering if someone could provide a brief description of the differences of the various xDSL technologies and how they fit together.

Also something that might be interesting. I was just talking to PacBell Business Data Products Dept. and understand they are just finishing up Beta testing with ADSL and will start offering it as a product in northern California next month. It should be available in southern California by March 98. One thing I found disappointing is the pricing, 384kbs upstream and 1.5Mbps downstream for $250 per month. Also for some reason I thought that ADSL was faster (4-5Mbps), I assume I am incorrect.

Thanks in advance for the help,

- Gary
