Move beyond the academic-concentration camp of one's "discipline." The word is unseemly.

In other words, shove politics into EVERYTHING.

I hope every student of his reads this before signing up for his classes. Even then they might not be aware of what they are getting into. Hope none of them are required. Looks a lot like freedom of speech for me but not for thee.
