Z, You said that people should not be taxed for purposes that they wouldn't give money to voluntarily. I said no such thing. Nothing about purposes served for any of the existing taxes. You on the other hand believe in paying more taxes, more than you are legally oblicated to. To this I said fine, go ahead. You can do it voluntarily. Today. Send the check to the US Treasury. Or you have a choice to give your additional money directly to your favorite purpose directly. Suddenly, when push comes to shove, you don't want to pay additional taxes unless you are compell to. Fine with me as well. That makes 2 of us. At lest we know that your "advocating" is just BS, bluff. The rest of your post is to incoherent for me to respond to. Joe
