I don't think it does. I think it smacks of fairness, treating everyone with respect, taking care of each other. Employers making sure that ALL their employee's, the people creating their wealth, are making a livable wage.

And if the employer is in a business that is in very low margin / no margin, very labor intensive, and pays what you would say sub-living wage, should this employer just shut down and let all of the employees go? On welfare?


Few businesses have such tight margins. And when they do, they usually fold in due time.

As for the rest, they are making money hand over fist. Why else are CEOs able to make millions? Why do you think they have golden parachutes worth millions when they screw up? When did it become okay to pay somone millions for screwing up? Why do you support such corrupt practices? How is this any different than the oligarchs in the Soviet Union?
