Now MOO I have a couple friends who do some programming work for companies with lots of models. Now they take all that number stuff, plug it into the machines for wall street, many models - so so many models - so again I just don't see how that is to give anyone any big edge over the big boys like that university pension guy with the teams of phd's working for him that says you cannot beat him and his results prove it.

Phi, the Golden Mean and Fibonacci numbers have been used with great success to analyze and predict stock market moves. Forbes ASAP recently featured a story on the work of scientist Stephen Wolfram in cellular automata (underlying rules that determine seemingly random phenomenon) stating "This seashell may hold the secret of stock market behavior, computers that think and the future of science."

HAHA - WOLFRAM - HAHA! I love it - what else you need but mr. cellular automata - HAHA!

Now one of my guys - he say shades - newton level math good for certain stuff - but when you start scaling - you need new models - planetary physics - quantum physics - etc etc they have different models because of the scaling you see. He big into programs with chaos theory and weather modelling for weather folks - now MOO when I got the folks on Bay News 9 can tell me for certain wether the tides gonna be good for me to go fishing - maybe I give them more credit - but right now they don't seem to do much better than my grand daddy who just went outside and looked at da sky - hehe. My friend tell me about those crazy physics guys back in the early 1900's who try to say ok here the universe, now lets get really small - see the proton center like the sun and the electron orbiting around it like da earth -

"Although this behavior may seem strange to our minds that are trained from birth by watching phenomena in the macroscopic world, this is the way things behave in the strange world of the quantum that holds sway at the atomic level."

SEE! It doesn't scale - just like that 250 US states article I posted over on real estate - scaling - its all about scaling - hehe.

But back to golden means and michelle pfieffers face:

Major, minor and sub waves are shown in RED, YELLOW and GREEN and the total number of increases and decreases (2, 5 or 8) is a Fibonacci number. Note too that the predicted end result is based in the Fibonacci series as well as the end price is 61.8% of the high and 0.618 is equal to 1/ and 0.382 is 1/2.

HAHA! I love it, the nautilus strikes again! HAHA!

MOO - you need to watch that movie PI - it so so good. I will always think of you whenever I think of dat movie. Moo you have read I Robot right?
