Sure, I'll listen to the officers. They are at least speaking about the actual situation in Iraq, not recycling old tropes about Vietnam that have nothing to do with the case. It's not that one side is more cheery than the other. It's that the rhetoric of the left is in a Vietnam rut, and is detached from the facts as we know them.
