I just want them to take away the mortgage interest deduction, especially for second homes. The way to sell this to the people is to claim that it was put in to benefit the hated congresscritters, who maintain two residences, those pork gobbling pigs!

I'd rather they leave the capital gains exemption. It's a windfall available to any homeowner that needs or wants it, not just rich people. I think a lot of people may be needing it soon.
