Where am I incorrect?

You conveniently dropped all references to GDP, which means that the meaning of the post just flew by you.

Either that, or you must think that the most desirable state is when a country uses the least energy per capita, but I pointed out the downside of it. The countries with the lowest energy consumption per person also have the lowest GDP per person.
