I meant what I think I typed. ;-)

i.e. From the mid 70s through the 80s, Interest rates were uncharacteristically high. Compared to that period, and only to that period, interest rates could mistakenly be seen as "low". However, relative to average interest rates during the past 2 centuries, today's rates are much higher than should be the case, IMO.
