I've just put in a new version of Subject that has the Ignore toggle right after the subject name. I like it there and Dave likes it there and even if it's not the best place and look for it, at least we finally have the toggle back in one place.

Unless someone comes up with a different location I absolutely fall in love with, I'm going to add it to the same location on other relevant pages. Starting in about 15 minutes. I'll sip some coffee while waiting to see if someone comes up with an idea I like a lot better.

I don't know if I mentioned yet that the recent changes to Ignore deviate a bit from what we've standardized on, and will evolve further.

In most places, ignored messages are replaced with an "Ignored Message" link that lets you read the message (if in single-read mode) or temporarily toggle ignore off (batch-reading), but in subject.aspx, I made the ignored messages go away entirely.

Dave and I don't quite agree on the final implementation, though we're close. Or maybe we do agree. I dunno. That conversation happened yesterday, and I'm doing good to remember my own name this time of day.

Where I see this headed is the "Ignored Message" link being the default handling, but making the choice between that and completely making the message disappear a user-config choice.
