(Posting to myself - the penultimate form of self-absorption)
I have come to realize that persons (no names, please, the shame is quite enough - they know who they are) with Xs in their MB profiles (Milton-Bradley, no doubt - Meyer-Briggs sounds like a tractor company) have, in effect, holes in their personae. They are not only incomplete, they are poorly integrated. They are not ELITE. I will continue to POST to them, and will enjoy whatever little witticisms upon which they may accidentally stumble, but I will cease to address them with FORMAL pronouns. Henceforth I will address them only in the informal, diminutive forms. I have SPOKEN.
(Whaddaya mean, English don't distinguish its pronouns? Ya mean, it don't have the differentiation that all CIVILIZED languages do? Geez, why din'cha tell me this BEFORE I said anything, Penni?) |
