the artists don't make anything and are practically broke anyway so there isn't any way their pay can be cut from music downloads. I think we had a discussion on this, on this thread before. .08 per download on itunes is ridiculous. This is the entire reason music is what it is today (horrible). I also think the rap artists are pushed so relentlessly by the record labels because the artists themselves are naive to recording industry bullying.
