I remember being young and listening to "old people" tell me how the music I was listening to was crap compared to what they grew up with. I swore I would never ever be like them. You like what you like, nothing wrong with that. But it is so not cool to disparage everything that comes after because it doesn't meet some arbitrary and aging definition of "good".
