ThrustMaster climbs on 'strong' holiday outlook
HILLSBORO, Ore. (DBC) -- ThrustMaster shares have reached a new high during the past two sessions, boosted by both an improving outlook for Christmas sales and talk of a buyout, analysts said.
Shares added 1 1/4, or 9 percent, to a record 15 1/2 on Wednesday. Volume was four times heavier than average for the second consecutive day.

"There are general indications that ThrustMaster's products should sell well in the Christmas season," said Damon Yuzon, analyst at Black & Company. ThrustMaster makes joysticks and steering wheels for PC games, and booked half its revenue for the entire previous year in the final quarter. Yuzon added this season looked particularly strong because of PCs outfitted with Intel's MMX technology for enhanced game playing and interesting software games slated for holiday release.
