So just redirect the url to your local box at 127.0.0.1

I've adfarm.mediaplex.com in my hosts file along with about 80 pages of other entries.

My mediaplex entries are:

127.0.0.1 adfarm.mediaplex.com
127.0.0.1 adfarm.snv.mediaplex.com
127.0.0.1 altfarm.mediaplex.com
127.0.0.1 img.mediaplex.com
127.0.0.1 img-iad.mediaplex.com
127.0.0.1 img-cdn.mediaplex.com
127.0.0.1 img-snv.mediaplex.com
127.0.0.1 mediaplex.com
127.0.0.1 mojofarm.mediaplex.com
127.0.0.1 mojoworks.mediaplex.com
127.0.0.1 www.mediaplex.com

No it isn't. The web page isn't at any of those URLs. The advertising on the page is.

Just *STICK* that *STUFF* in your Hosts file and you'll get through to the page.

Then get a good hosts file someplace.
