Tasteless isn't illegal, last time I checked. My husband is friends with a woman who just came down with an autoimmune disease. When her doctor told her, she started screaming at him for telling her. I asked her why she screamed at her doctor, and she acted surprised that I would even ask. Of course she should scream at her doctor if he tells her something she doesn't like hearing. People react to bad news in different ways. Killing the messenger is one of those time-honored ways.
