Country Star Restaurants, Inc. to Host Arista R&B Party
in Atlanta, Georgia

ATLANTA, Sept. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Country Star Restaurants, Inc. (Nasdaq:CAFE)(the
``Company''), a Delaware corporation, announces that it is hosting, at its Atlanta restaurant, a
party to celebrate the platinum release for the musical group ``112.'' The group is part of the
Arista label. Some of the guests include Mariah Carey, Keith Sweat, TLC and Queen Latifah.

Mr. Robert Nardone, Board member, stated that music industry parties are a ``natural fit for our
Atlanta restaurant.'' Mr. Dan Rubin, Chief Executive Officer and President, stated that the
``reopening of Atlanta accomplishes one of the final goals outlined in the February 1997
restructuring.'' Mr. Rubin added that this party is only the first of several pre-opening parties
being held at Country Star Atlanta this fall.

Country Star Restaurants, Inc. owns and operates three Country Star American Music Grills: in
Hollywood, at the entrance to Universal Studios; in Las Vegas on the famous ``Strip'' at Harmon
