In case you have forgotten, the Repub admin of Ronald Reagan had a penchant for overthrowing democratically elected governments in Central America and South America way back in the 1980s. And now Bush Jr. exhibits the same tendency. Is that surprising? Quite obviously, this is a case of monkey- see, monkey-do, and patent hypocrisy.
I agree with you Bush is a liar. As a matter of fact, he is a brazen liar. That is, he is a liar who could look you in the eye and lie as if he is telling you the gospel truth! And, if you would show any modicum of doubt or distrust, he would implore you to "trust" him. Unfortunately, lots of young folks in America today cannot tell the difference between truths and lies, or they are simply apathetic, thanks to an inadequate education system that has been dumbing them down over the last four decades.
It seems to me Bush is not concerned about being a brazen liar because he pathologically succumbs to the delusion that God has put him in the Whitehouse and therefore he has the carte blanche authority to lie --- a delusion shared by that cranky and nutty Fundamentalist Christian preacher, Pat Robertson. |
