As I mentioned to another user earlier today, Bob has started working on writing the code for the system we once had for suspensions. We're also going make moderator-issued bans require a reason and a expiration date. I also said something to the effect of "they will rain like a monsoon in the Politics forum - after an warning period." By all means take your complaints to Bob. He understands all too well what a drain on resources the Politics forum is, particularly relative to the lack of material revenue derived from it. He's also quite aware that a large part of the problem is caused by a handful of users who seemingly have nothing better to do than to antagonize other users and orchestrate dissent between "camps" rather than engaging in discussion of issues. He's no more moved by hypocrisy than I am. "Your hands are not clean. I will do nothing about your complaint because of that."
