Some curiosities gleaned while researching Phillip Roth Saunders...

Let's start with the Reverend George Saunders... Hmmm... Fictitious person or a real soul? Maybe real, maybe not... Literary license and all that stuff... There's certainly nothing wrong with publishing a book using more than one author's name, unless there was some intent to deceive and profit from that deception, which I don't see as being the case here. There is a different George Saunders who is an accomplished author. There is also a celebrity named George Saunders, with many connections to Las Vegas. No, I'm not saying or insinuating that Reverend George is either one of these other people. I'm merely pointing out that the name George Saunders is a fairly common name.

In a strange twist of fate, there is an accomplished author named Phillip Roth... And in the old television show Vega$, starring Robert Urich, the owner/operator of the Desert Inn was none other than a character named Phillip Roth (portrayed by Tony Curtis)...

Truth is sometimes stranger than fiction...

EK!!!
