Keith "Thats the scary thing." Based on past history, you scare easily. Don't you remember your pronouncements that AMD would be doomed in H1 2005 with the larger cache CPU's from Intel? "I certainly wont be invested in 2H2006 anymore" There's only one word for a pronouncement like that, foolish. There may be reason to be concerned going forward, but IDF is nothing but vapor, as recent history has shown. Maybe Intel can do it, maybe not. If the specint performance is going to be so good, Intel would be publicizing it quite a bit more. This stuff about performance per watt suggests the opposite. It's not that people aren't listening, Intel really isn't talking. I sincerely do appreciate your posts on this, but I think you are being way too negative again.
