Allergan CFO Eric Brandt resigns to become Avanir Pharma CEO Tuesday August 23, 5:05 pm ET By Carla Mozee SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Allergan Inc. said after Tuesday's closing bell that Chief Financial Officer Eric Brandt has resigned, effective Sept. 5, to become chief executive of Avanir Pharmaceuticals . Irvine, Calif.-based Allergan named Jeffrey Edwards CFO, succeeding Brandt.
