[Supply and demand]

<<<<Unfortunately, the laws of supply and demand are taking over and the supply is sbout to pass demand.Good luck.>>>

And when someone yells, "Surf's up!" and you're half way to Topeka, how long will it take you to hit the beach?

Have you read the latest issue of InterNet Week? On page 13 there's an article called, "GTE Teams BBN With Network Services Unit." The last paragraph reads:

". . . corporate customers of the former BBN gain access to GTE's international facilities, as well as future services that GTE expects to introduce as the results of its trials of highspeed local access digital subscriber line (DSL) technologies, Perkins said."

Now this isn't news to you or anyone else who follows this board, but it may be news to some at the Salomon Conference tomorrow. From what I'm hearing, our CEO may very likely talk about chips --- and how the advanced C6X compares to the competition --- and the state of the trials, and where the company stands in regards to its partners, and what the market looks like going forward. These are just some possibilities. He may go off on a tangent and miss them completely. I've just never known him not to captivate an audience and have more to say than the time in which to say it.

I know the chip progress is exciting and based on that alone I wish I could be there.

Cheers!

Pat
