we should be running surpluses in a real boom, so much spending that sales tax receipts through the roof etc. Just like 98. Our economic reports are national, after all. If we created 350K jobs/mo with surpluses in the Clinton years, why not now? If its the same kind of boom, I mean. I don't think it is. I think RE is a "smoke and mirrors" boom.
